An exciting opportunity has become available within CQUniversity’s Tertiary Education Division (TED) to employ a Director – Educational Quality and Integrity. Reporting to the Deputy Vice-President – Education and Quality, you will be responsible for the provision of high-quality leadership across the TED portfolio. Providing strategic, educational and administrative leadership to foster excellence and innovation in learning and teaching that will support the provision of a consistently positive student experience, assure the integrity of CQUniversity’s courses, and drive performance against quality benchmarks that align with the strategic priorities, plans, and policies of the University, inclusive of our status as a dual sector.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic and passionate academic leader who leads by example and promotes a positive culture of excellence within the Educational Quality and Integrity Directorate and across the University. You will ensure outstanding learning outcomes for our students and drive the development of an environment that promotes the capacity building of our educators, to ensure the strategic vision, experience and operational requirements are exceeded in the already fast paced and constantly evolving academic environment.

• Possession of a postgraduate degree with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training.
• Demonstrated expert knowledge of Higher Education Standards Frameworks and Standards for RTOs.
• Demonstrated significant experience in quality management and quality assurance, course and professional accreditation, compliance and registration.
• Demonstrated abilities in drafting and reviewing submissions to relevant government authorities relating to new or amended legislation related to accreditation, compliance and registration.
• Experience in coordinating rigorous system-wide approaches to course review and accreditation that achieve regulatory compliance with Higher Education Threshold Standard, RTO Standards, and professional accreditation standards.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in conducting research and analysis on a range of defined strategic issues.
• Demonstrated exceptional leadership and relationship management skills, including development and maintenance of effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
