About this role
The School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences’ College of Psychology promotes an evidence-based focus to the examination, understanding and enhancement of health and wellbeing within individuals, groups, organisations and communities. The College is comprised of a team of diverse and innovative academics who are world class researchers and who are deeply engaged with the communities in which they live and work. The College has strong relationships with industry, both within our courses and within our research. This means the skills students develop are specifically informed by the needs of the psychology profession and by other career paths within which these skills can be applied.
As a Lecturer in Clinical Psychology, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of aspiring psychologists by delivering into the Master of Clinical Psychology and Master of Clinical Psychology (Advanced Entry) courses and contributing to supervision of clinical psychology students in the Psychology Wellness Centre. You will have experience working as a Clinical Psychologist and have a passion for teaching, inspiring and mentoring the next generation of psychology practitioners.

Selection criteria
- A Masters level qualification in Clinical Psychology.
- Registration with AHPRA as a psychologist
- Eligibility for membership of the Australian Psychological Society and the APS College of Clinical Psychology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and highly effective interpersonal skills.
- You will be expected to hold vaccinations in relation to the COVID-19 immunisation should your CQUniversity role require you to attend any setting / venue / event where there is a specific entry requirement for you to hold these vaccinations, as per relevant State Government directives.
