Join CQUniversity’s School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences as a Lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics (Identified), contributing to programs that prepare graduates for contemporary practice and support improved health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
This position involves delivering teaching across the Bachelor of Nutrition / Master of Nutrition and Dietetics, coordinating units and contributing to curriculum development with a focus on culturally safe and responsive practice.
You will also play an important role in strengthening connections with community, health services, industry and professional partners, while maintaining your own professional development to ensure best practice in teaching and cultural capability. Selection criteria
- Current accreditation as an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD).
- Postgraduate qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent.
- Teaching qualification or willingness to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education.
- An understanding of current professional and educational issues in higher education.
- Proven record of scholarship and/or excellence in research.
- Demonstrated ability to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Professional experience in regional, rural and remote settings, with a focus on First Nations health.
