About this role
Join the esteemed College of Health Sciences within the School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences and play a key role in advancing teaching, research, and clinical education in Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy. We are seeking an experienced clinician/academic, preferably with specialised expertise in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, to lead and deliver high-quality, profession-specific units, supervise undergraduate students, and coordinate both academic and clinical learning experiences.
In this role, you will also participate in impactful research and collaborate with industry and community partners to enhance our physiotherapy programs and further strengthen our external engagement. Alongside this, you’ll deliver sharp assessments and student support, contribute to key school committees, and play a decisive role in shaping the direction and quality of our growing physiotherapy program.

Selection criteria
Essential
• Registered, or eligible to be registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia / AHPRA.
• Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate students and support their educational development through diverse, multi-modal teaching strategies.
• A research background, or demonstrated interest in research, with the capacity to contribute to the School’s research activities.
Desirable
• Minimum five years’ clinical experience in a hospital and/or community-based health service in a relevant discipline area of cardiorespiratory physiotherapy.
• A teaching qualification, or a willingness to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education.
