  • Total Remuneration $138,968 to $161,953 pa* (including salary of $117,430 to $136,853 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)

About the Role 

Join our growing physiotherapy discipline within CQUniversity's College of Health Sciences and help deliver outstanding teaching, clinical education and research in Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy. You'll teach profession-specific units, supervise students across classroom and clinical settings, contribute to curriculum development, collaborate with healthcare partners, and inspire the next generation of physiotherapists.

You'll also contribute to impactful research, strengthen industry and community partnerships, and help shape the future direction of CQUniversity's physiotherapy program.

We particularly encourage applications from experienced physiotherapists working in acute care, ICU, cardiorespiratory rehabilitation, community health or clinical education who are ready to bring their expertise into higher education.


Selection criteria
  • Registered, or eligible to be registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia / AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching, supervising, mentoring or developing undergraduate students, graduates or health professionals.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in research, quality improvement or evidence-based practice with the capacity to contribute to the School’s research activities.
  • A teaching qualification, or a willingness to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education.
  • Minimum five years’ clinical experience in a hospital and/or community-based health service in a relevant discipline area of cardiorespiratory physiotherapy (Desirable)
