About this role

  • Work from home, or relocate to a CQUniversity campus (excl. SEQ region)
  • Relocation support available
  • Total Remuneration:
    • Lecturer – $130,270 to $153,255 pa (including salary of $110,080 to $129,503 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)
    • Senior Lecturer – $157,855 to $180,372 pa (including salary of $133,390 to $152,417 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)

About the Position

CQUniversity is seeking an individual with experience and qualifications in public health, who identifies as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.

In this role, you have the flexibility to work from home, anywhere in Australia. Alternatively, if you prefer to be based in the office, we will provide financial support for your relocation to a CQUniversity campus.

This position offers the potential for appointment as either a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, depending on your qualifications and experience.

Selection criteria

Position Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or completed a PhD in Public Health or related health discipline, or possess equivalent accreditation or standing.
  • Strong understanding of the social determinants within public health.
  • Proven expertise in indigenous public health issues, including a community-based approach, systems thinking, and/or emergency and disaster management in public health.
  • Effective at building relationships and networking with industry and community stakeholders.
