Selection criteria
Position Requirements
- Hold doctoral qualifications (PhD or equivalent) plus significant experience in the relevant discipline.
- Registered as a Nurse (Division 1) in AHPRA, evidence of meeting NMBA Recency of Practice registration standards.
- Extensive academic, research, and industry experience with strong knowledge of nursing education, and a proven record in innovative teaching and curriculum development.
- Proven academic leadership, demonstrated through building and motivating multidisciplinary teams, managing staff performance, and fostering a culture of high achievement.
- Significant research profile, evidenced by publications in high-quality journals, successful supervision of research higher degree students, and the ability to attract competitive research funding.
- Maintain strong professional networks with government, industry, and the broader community to enhance the School’s reputation and impact.
